HELLO!

I’m Alec (AJ) Newcomb and you probably already know me — or somebody like me. 

If you’ve ever been out at a bar, party, or even on a flight and gotten into a wildly specific conversation about movies, TV, books, the impact of ‘90s songs on the 21st century, or football, you’ve met a couch philosopher. We're a fun bunch. This couch philosopher in particular is looking to make a career out of getting his thoughts about everything and anything on paper. 

I cut my teeth studying English at UC Berkeley and writing at the Daily Californian. Currently, I’m a freelance writer based in LA. At the moment I cover entertainment and author a weekly blog on the Philadelphia Eagles (go Birds!). However, I spent two years in a PR agency representing enterprise tech companies (and even worked through multiple IPOs).
